John Hunter
John Hunter completed his Masters of Physiotherapy at McMaster University in 2002. He has a special interest in complex back and neck injuries as well as injury prevention.
John has extensive experience with many National and Olympic athletes. He was selected to the Canadian Pan American Olympic medical team in 2007, and has worked with the Canadian Canoe and Kayak team internationally since 2005.
John has completed the highest level of Manual Therapy (FCAMPT) and Intramuscular Stimulation (CGIMS). He focuses on finding the underlying cause of pain and the steps required to solve the problem, rather than treating symptoms.
John has contributed to clinical research involving injury prevention for young athletes as well as research regarding motor vehicle collisions.
John Hunter is a Certified Gunn IMS Practitioner (CGIMS) and the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada (CAFCI).

John and his family moved back to Victoria in 2008 and are enjoying the active, yet relaxed lifestyle.
